1. Information Collection and Contact Details

1.1 We are pleased that you are using our application (hereinafter "app"). In the following we inform you about the handling of your personal data when using our app. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified.

1.2 Responsible for data processing regarding this app within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Ludwig German Villalba Adorno, Rua da Constituição n. 2127 - 12.º Esq.º Tras 4250-170 Porto, email: hello@checkmono.com. The person responsible for the processing of personal data is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

2. Log Files When Using Our Mobile App

If you download our mobile app via an app store, the required information will be transmitted to the app store, i.e. in particular user name, email address and customer number of your account, time of download, payment information and the individual device code. We have no influence on this data collection and are not responsible for it.

When using our mobile app, we collect the following data:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference
  • Browser used
  • Language and version of browser software
  • Operating system and interface
  • IP address (if necessary: in anonymous form)

3. Hosting & Content-Delivery-Network

Firebase Cloud Storage

We use the web hosting service "Firebase Cloud Storage" from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google") for hosting and displaying app content. All data collected on our website is processed on the Google servers.

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google for the use of Firebase, which obliges Google to protect the data of our site visitors and not to pass it on to third parties.

4. Cookies

In order to make our app attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the app is closed (so-called session cookies).

5. Contact

When contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. Which data is collected when using a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form in the app.

6. Data Processing for Contract Processing

6.1 Service Providers

For the processing of contracts concluded via the app, we work together with service provider(s) who support us in whole or in part in the implementation of concluded contracts.

6.2 RevenueCat

In the case of in-app payments, payment is made via RevenueCat Inc., 300 Euclid Avenue San Francisco, CA 94118, USA.

7. Registration in the App

You can register in our app by providing personal data. Which personal data is processed for the registration results from the input mask used for the registration.

8. Signing Inspection Reports

When you sign an inspection report in the app, we record the following data together with your signature to document when and where the report was signed:

  • Your signature, name, and date and time of signing
  • Your location at the time of signing (geolocation and the corresponding street address)
  • Your IP address

This data is shown in the signed report and is visible to the other parties to the report. It serves as evidence of the condition of the property and of the signature.

9. Session Recording and Crash Diagnostics

LogRocket

To analyse errors and improve the app, we use "LogRocket", a service provided by LogRocket, Inc., USA. LogRocket records sessions in the app (interactions, screens viewed, technical device information) and collects crash and diagnostic data such as error messages. Session recordings are linked to your account.

As LogRocket is based in the USA, personal data is transferred to a third country. This transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

10. Rights of the Data Subject

The applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (rights to information and intervention) vis-à-vis the person responsible for the processing of your personal data, including:

  • Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to deletion (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

11. Duration of Storage

The duration of the storage of personal data is based on the respective legal basis, the processing purpose and - if relevant - also based on the respective statutory retention period.

Signed inspection reports, including their photos, notes, signature, geolocation, street address and IP address, are retained for 10 years after signing, then deleted. This also applies if you delete your account, as a signed report also belongs to the other parties.
